Terms of Service
Updated
Effective date: July 12, 2026
Short version: I quote honestly, show up when agreed, and stand behind the work. The longer version below exists because lawyers are also people.
Quotes
Quotes based on photos or descriptions are flat prices for the described scope. If reality differs from the photo (hidden damage, different wall material, missing parts), I’ll flag it and re-agree the price before doing extra work. Materials are extra unless the quote says otherwise.
Scheduling and cancellations
Life happens — reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 4 hours before the slot. Later cancellations or a no-show at the building may incur the minimum-visit fee.
Workmanship warranty
Labor is warranted for 30 days: if something I installed or repaired fails under normal use, I come back and fix it at no charge. The warranty doesn’t cover the product itself (that’s the manufacturer’s job), misuse, or changes made by someone else after my visit.
Scope and safety
I don’t perform work that legally requires a licensed trade professional or permits (gas, structural, new electrical circuits, major plumbing). If your job crosses that line, I’ll say so and point you to the right specialist.
Liability
To the extent permitted by New York law, my total liability for any claim arising out of a job is limited to the amount paid for that job.
